ZOP reference

Every part of a ZOP: the top bar, the body, the parameters and the ZOPs panel. To place and run one, see Your first ZOP.

In the plugin TWOZERO OPERATORS ZOPs

Kinds and outputs

image, video a TOP: generatedImage (moviefileinTOP)
digital human a TOP: generatedVideo (moviefileinTOP)
audio a CHOP: generatedAudio (audiofileinCHOP)
text, chat a DAT: generated (textDAT)
3D a POP: live geometry out of generatedModel (gltfinCOMP)

Top bar

Status dot Gray idle or done, blue uploading, yellow queued, green running, red error.
Run ~$X Runs the ZOP; the price of the next run is on the button. From $1.00 the first click arms it (Confirm ~$X) and a second click within four seconds runs. While running, the same button stops it.
Model name Click to swap the model: opens the ZOPs panel for this ZOP. Picking a model replaces this one's family and model in place, and in the other selected ZOPs of the same kind.
Get prompt Copies the prompt to the clipboard and drops a textDAT with it into the network.
Bring into network Drops the result (the TOP, CHOP or DAT above) as a static operator at the cursor.
Open in file manager Shows the output file in Finder or Explorer.
Post, Like The twozero feed: Post publishes the result there (team accounts only), Like likes it. Image, video and digital human ZOPs have both, 3D and audio have Like, chat has neither.
Gear The full parameter dialog, same as RMB → Parameters.

Body and bottom bar

Image and video ZOPs show the result, with wired-in input images as thumbnails on the left. 3D ZOPs show a viewer you can tumble with the mouse. Text ZOPs show the prompt on top and the answer below. An empty ZOP says which inputs the model needs and which it can also take. On error a clickable overlay covers the body, e.g. Add credits opens billing.

After a run the bottom bar shows the actual charge, and for images and video also the resolution and the file name.

Parameters

Every ZOP:

  • Run / Stop / Reset: pulses, same as the Run button and RMB → Reset. A Run pulse from a script, a callback or an agent runs at once, without the confirm.
  • Prompt: the input text. A DAT wired into the input takes precedence.
  • Family / Model: set by the ZOPs panel; you can override them.
  • Autoselectmodel: when the family changes, pick its default model.
  • Seed + Randseed: determinism. With Randseed on, every run gets a new seed.
  • Autorunnext: after a successful run, run every ZOP wired to this one's output.
  • Callbackdat: a DAT with onSuccess(comp, result) / onError(comp, error).

Chat ZOPs add Runonprompt: run again whenever the prompt changes.

Image and video ZOPs add:

  • Aspect / Res: aspect ratio and resolution class from the model's lists; Resolution1 / Resolution2 for models with a free size.
  • Use input resolution: with an image wired in, follow its aspect ratio, never below the 2k class.
  • Resize input images + Resize input extend: fit wired images to the output size before upload.
  • Duration: video length in seconds.

3D ZOPs add Format (Auto prefers glb, the format TD loads directly), PBR materials and Face count (0 leaves it to the model). They need TouchDesigner 2025.33070 or newer.

Audio and digital human ZOPs take an audio file and further model-specific parameters; each one has a tooltip in the parameter dialog. Digital human ZOPs also lipsync an existing video. Audio ZOPs cover speech: text to speech, voice cloning and speech to text.

3D results come out textured, and Gaussian splats are supported.

A model saved in a ZOP may leave the catalogue. The ZOP then takes the nearest one, warns you and asks you to confirm the next run.

The ZOPs panel

Open ZOPs from the TWOZERO menu or its hotkey. [ENTER] or LMB on a family creates a ZOP with the family's default model; on a model listed under it, that exact model. RMB on a row shows the model's description and price. Models you use most come first. The list comes live from twozero.ai and is cached on disk.

ZOPs update to the latest template the next time the panel opens.
