The plugin
Do I need a subscription to use TWOZERO? No. The toolkit and the MCP server are free, generations are pay per use, and Cloud works on the free plan. PRO is an economics choice for people who build a lot, not a gate on the product.
Is the plugin free forever? Yes. We bill for AI generations and for the PRO tool library — never for the plugin itself.
What do I need for MCP workflows? An agent you already use — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex — on your own plan or API key. MCP costs no credits: your agent subscription is between you and its vendor.
Credits and payments
How does the balance work? One credit is one dollar. No exchange rate, no token maths. You top up from $5, you see the price of a generation before you create it, and credits you buy never expire. Details: Billing & Credits.
How do I pay? Card, or USDT on Ethereum and Base. Both land on the same balance and spend the same way.
Is the price I see before creating the final one? It is the catalogue price for the model, and for most work it is exactly what you pay. Some models charge by what you asked for — video length and resolution, for example — so the final amount is computed from your real inputs when the job runs. That is why the estimate carries a tilde.
What about failed generations? They are not charged. If a job fails for a technical reason, including a failure at the model provider, the credits return to the wallet they came from.
Do credits expire? Purchased and Bonus Credits do not. Included Credits — the $10 that comes with PRO each month — expire at the end of every monthly period and do not roll over.
Can I move credits to another account? No. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Where do I see what I was charged for? app.twozero.ai/billing/activity — every generation, top-up and refund, with the amount and the date.
PRO and tools
What exactly is in PRO? $10 of Included Credits a month, every PRO tool without buying them one by one, 10 GB of Cloud storage, +5% bonus on top-ups, and early access to new tools and builds. It costs $19 a month, $180 a year, or $12 a month on the founding price for the first 202 subscribers.
Can I buy one tool without subscribing? Not from the TWOZERO library — the tools there open with PRO. ZERROR and other standalone 404.zero products are sold on 404zero.com as one-time purchases and are not part of PRO.
How do I cancel PRO? From your account settings at app.twozero.ai/settings, whenever you want. PRO stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and the credits you bought remain yours — only the PRO perks end.
What happens to my components if PRO ends? Nothing is deleted. Your storage quota drops to 100 MB, and if you are over it your Cloud goes read-only: everything already there stays downloadable, new uploads are blocked until you free up space.
Cloud storage
How much can I store? 100 MB on the free plan, 10 GB on PRO. Only the components you upload count — one figure covers all their versions.
What happens when it fills up? At 80% you get a warning. At 100% uploads and new versions stop with a clear message; everything already in your Cloud stays available and can be downloaded. Deleting a component frees the space back.
Do AI generations count against that quota? No. Generated images, videos and their previews live in a separate archive with no limit on it.
