System Requirements

TouchDesigner Free / Commercial / Pro, build 2025.33230 or newer. On an older build the installer shows Older TouchDesigner and lets you CONTINUE ANYWAY, but some features may not work and plugin updates stop arriving until you update TouchDesigner (see Update).

Windows — Win 10+, modern gaming-class machine.

macOS: Apple silicon (M1 or newer), on a macOS version your TouchDesigner build supports. Full Disk Access for TouchDesigner is needed to install (Installation).

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex need nothing extra to work over MCP. In the Claude desktop app, use its Code section: that is Claude Code, and the connection wizard sets it up. The wizard does not set up the Chat section.
