System Requirements

TouchDesigner Free / Commercial / Pro, build 2025.33070 or newer. The installer checks this and offers a download link on older builds.

Windows — Win 10+, modern gaming-class machine.

macOS — M1 or newer, macOS 10.14+. Full Disk Access for TouchDesigner is needed to install (Installation).

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex need nothing extra to work over MCP. Node.js is only required by the Chat section of Claude Desktop, which we don't recommend — use the Code section there, or Claude Code in the terminal.
