3.468

A new Cloud, a home of its own for Rudiments, a shelf of AI models and much stronger tools for AI agents.

Released October 30, 2026. With Auto update off, 3.368 does not tell you about it: open Settings → PLUGIN → Check updates. From this version on, the plugin header tells you. See Update.

New in 3.468

The twozero buttons in TD's top bar
  • Cloud window. Browse your components, favourites, inbox and repositories in one place. It works from the keyboard, and cards drag straight into a network. See Cloud.
  • Rudiments window. Rudiments now have their own window with search and drag-and-drop into a network. See Get a rudiment.
  • ZOPS dock. Keep your AI models on a shelf where the Palette opens. Drag one onto a network to place it. Heart the ones you use, and they appear in Create OP. See Your first ZOP.
  • New TD bar. TWOZERO, MCP, RUDIMENTS, ZOPS and CLOUD are now labelled buttons in TouchDesigner's top bar, with hover tips. See First run.
  • Add to Cloud from the bar. Select operators and save them through the CLOUD button. See Cloud.
  • Link card. Copy a twozero link anywhere, come back to TD, and a card offers to place it. On a private link, the card lets you ask the owner for access. See Links.
  • Price on Run. ZOPs show what a run costs on the Run button. Runs of $1 or more ask for a second click. See Your first ZOP.
  • Update link. The plugin header tells you when a new version is out, even with Auto update off. See Update.
  • Report a problem. The bug icon in the menu opens a report form on the site, with a picture of the plugin window already attached. See Troubleshooting.

What moved in 3.468

You are used to Now
Several Cloud views and the Hub One Cloud window. The menu row, the hotkey, the inbox icon and the CLOUD button all open it.
A Rudiments tab inside the Hub Its own window, with the RUDIMENTS button and its own hotkey.
The New Hub (beta) switch Gone: there is only the Cloud window.
The Local only switch Gone: it did nothing. The MCP server only ever accepts connections from this machine.
The Zero-ui dialogs switch Gone.
Settings in one long list Sections: ACCOUNT, EDITOR, PROJECT, AI & MCP, HOTKEYS, PLUGIN. See Settings.
"You are up to date" on an older TouchDesigner The plugin says which version needs a newer TouchDesigner.
Agents writing to the Hub through td_hub td_hub_write holds every action that changes the Hub. td_hub keeps the reading ones.

Improved in 3.468

  • Rudiments search understands word starts and typos, in English and Russian.
  • Create OP now lists your hearted ZOPs, your hearted and downloaded rudiments and your Cloud favourites by name. Left and right arrows reach TD's standard families first.
  • Large Cloud downloads resume after a dropped connection, and uploads retry.
  • New AI capabilities: video-to-video lipsync and speech types (text to speech, voice cloning, speech to text). 3D results come out textured, with Gaussian splats supported.
  • AI generation can no longer retry without limit, and failures now say why.

For AI agents in 3.468

  • td_graph_query answers who references what, who calls what and whether a DAT still matches its file.
  • Each editing call is one Ctrl+Z step. td_execute_python can roll back a failed script with on_error='rollback'.
  • Replies report what a call created, deleted and broke. They also use fewer tokens.
  • td_get_operators_info(stats=true) reads TOP pixel statistics without a screenshot.
  • td_parse_project, td_search, td_get_errors and flat td_get_network walk big projects in the background, so TD keeps running.

Faster and steadier in 3.468

  • TD starts more smoothly: the AI templates load in the background.
  • Stopping MCP no longer freezes TD under load, and regular MCP hitches are gone.
  • Many crashes and wrong states fixed across login, Cloud, ZOPs and MCP.

Good to know in 3.468

Anonymous crash reports are on by default. They carry masked errors and versions, never your patch. Turn them off in Settings → PLUGIN → Crash reporting.
