Update
Go to Settings → Check updates. If a newer version exists, confirm it — the plugin downloads and swaps itself in place, without a permission prompt and without restarting TouchDesigner.
CHECK UPDATES AUTOMATICALLY ON TD START:
Settings → Auto update → Yes.
WHEN AN UPDATE ASKS FOR PERMISSION
Most updates only replace the plugin file in your user folder, so nothing is asked. The full installer opens (with one permission prompt — why?) in two cases:
- the update also changes the small loader component that lives in the TD interface;
- you are coming from an older twozero that predates the loader — the installer migrates you once, and later updates are prompt-free.
In both cases the flow is the same as a normal installation: the installer screen appears, you click GET STARTED.
IF AN UPDATE DIDN'T APPLY
Settings → Reload plugin reloads the installed plugin from disk. Restarting TouchDesigner does the same. If the plugin is missing entirely, run the installation again — settings and your local folder are preserved.
A new TouchDesigner build always needs a fresh installation: the plugin is stored per TD build.
